What is CMN?
Campus Mare Nostrum 37 /38 is the International Excellence Campus for Higher Education and Research of the University of Murcia (UM) and the University of Cartagena (UPCT). The campus is a joint effort of international organizations, research centres, technology parks, companies and the administration, which seeks to transform the Region of Murcia into a pole of international, high-quality education, science, business and culture in the Mediterranean area.
Second report about the situation of the economic integration in the Euro-Mediterranean region
23 Oct 2025Last 12th September, the second Union for the Mediterranean report, which concerns the situation of the economic integration in the Euro-Mediterranean region, was presented in Barcelona, and elaborated in collaboration with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OCDE), with the support of the German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ). The report analyses trade, finance, infrastructure, mobility and higher education and research, with a new vision about genre, digitalization and ecological transition. Conclusions show a region which has yet to live up to his potential, but it is full of opportunities to make interdependence into growth and resilience.
