CMN hosts Triptolemos Foundation's Spanish Campuses of International Excellence Agrifood meeting

On July 1 the University of Murcia hosted the  Triptolemos Foundation's Spanish Campuses of International Excellence in the Agrifood Sector, of which the Campus Mare Nostrum (CMN) of the two state universities in the Region of Murcia is a member.

During the event the directory of the Network's potential and its policies for the coming academic year were presented. The director, Marius Rubiralta, explained that internationalization is the line to be taken, with invitations to European agrifood campuses to join the Network.

The event was held in the Convalecencia building of the University and was hosted by the Chancellors José Orihuela and José Antonio Franco of the University of Murcia and the Polytechnic University of Cartagena respectively, and was attended by the coordinators of ten member campuses.

The Network of Campuses comprises the Granada BioTic Campus, the Barcelona Knowledge BKC, the CeiA3 Campus of Agrifood Excellence, the Energy Campus, the Euro-Mediterranean Campus of Tourism and Water, the Ebro Valley Campus, the Vida Campus, the UAB CEI, the Campus do Mar and the CMN.

All the above institutions see the agrifood sector as an a focus of excellence of huge importance for the Spanish economy.
