Minister of Education @ CMN Science Campus
24 jul 2011 The Minister of Education of the Government of Spain, Ángel Gabilondo, will pay a visit today to the Science Summer Campus organized by the International Campus of Excellence 'Mare Nostrum 37/38', the University of Murcia and the Polytechnic University of Cartagena.
Gabilondo will have the opportunity to gain insight into the 70-student campus around topics such as "Food and Health ','Physics and telecommunications ',' Water 'and' Biotechnology '. Those attending the campus have been selected through a competitive program set up by the Spanish Science and Technology Agency.
Campus Mare Nostrum 37/38 has been the first Excellente Campus in Spain to launch these inclusive summer campuses for persons with disabilities. This inititiative is promoted by the Ministry of Education and the Spanish Science and Technology Agency (FECYT).The program is sponsored by the Foundations of REPSOL and ONCE.
