Final Conference of the EURAPMON European Network at the University of Murcia
09 mar 2015From Monday 9th to Wednesday 11th March, at the Monasterio Santa Eulalia Hotel in the Sierra Espuña Natural Park , the 'Mare Nostrum 37/38' International Campus of Excellence holds the final conference of the EURAPMON European network.
This is the concluding event of one of the European Science Foundation Networking Programmes, EURAPMON (Research and monitoring for and with raptors in Europe) which started in May 2010 and ends in May 2015.
This final conference is the most important meeting in EURAPMON.
Previous meetings have been in Sicily, Amsterdam, Naturalis, Brussels (the Steering Committee), and twice in Murcia. The final conference will include plenary talks by the most important leading raptor researchers, presentation of EURAPMON results, four workshops, poster presentations and a field trip.
The conference aims to improve transnational cooperation in raptor research and monitoring by sharing knowledge and experience and considering challenges and opportunities for the future beyond EURAPMON.
The target audience is raptor researchers, experts and managers, as well as students interested in raptor research, monitoring and conservation. 90 participants from 33 different countries will attend, not only in Europe but high-level researchers too from USA, Canada and Russia.
