CMN Universities enhance relationships with Morocco.
The Rector of the Technical University of Cartagena, Mr. José Antonio Franco, and the Vice-chancellor of Research and Internationalization of the University of Murcia, Mr. Gaspar Ros Berruezo, held a meeting with the Ministry of Equipment and Transport of Morocco, Mr. Aziz Rabbah, and the Moroccan ambassador to Spain, Mr. Ahmedou Ould Souilem, on the occasion of the institutional visit the Moroccan representatives paid to Murcia this week.
The meeting allowed for a presentation of the campus shared by both public universities in the Region, Campus of International Excellence Mare Nostrum 37/38, and was an opportunity to offer the visitors a detailed description of the on going CMN activities with Moroccan institutions.
Some of the mentioned activities are the Cross-border Campus, that is to allow CMN and Moroccan universities to teach joint degrees in the near future, and the Project TEMPUS NORIA. This last project counts on the participation of 14 Moroccan institutions and is focused on “Strengthening the Innovation Strategy and Improving the Transfer of Technology in the field of Water in Morocco”.
