Campus Mare Nostrum, a CEI example for the Lithuanian University of Klaipeda

The Vice-rector of Research and Internationalization of the University of Murcia, Gaspar Ros Berruezo, received yesterday in Murcia the Vice-rector of Research and Academic Affairs of the University of Klaipedia (Lithuania), Prof. Inga Dailidiene. The meeting aimed at the promotion of a MOU between both institutions.
The key collaboration fields will be marine biology and marine ecosystems and since Klaipedia University is just in its way to create a Campus of Excellence, Campus Mare Nostrum 37/38 - the University of Murcia and the Polytechnic University of Cartagena- will be taken as an example.
The Lithuanian Campus tries to focus in marine biology too and the MOU to be signed is expected to encourage joint research work between groups in both countries.
The meeting was fostered by the teacher at the Faculty of Biology and expert in marine ecosystems, Ángel Pérez Ruzafa.
Pascual Pérez Paredes, General Coordinator of CMN, and Matías Balibrea González, Head of the International Relations Office, attended the meeting too.
