Completing the European Research Area in the Context of the Innovation Union – Boarding Time

The objective of the Conference is to bring together European Research Area – ERAstakeholders such as research organisations, universities, private enterprises and public authorities to contribute to the debate on the policy measures and actions which must be implemented with a view to completing ERA by 2014.
During the Conference key specific and cross-cutting issues of ERA policy will be explored, including, inter alia, the effectiveness of national research systems, open labour market for researchers, research infrastructures, gender issues, knowledge transfer and open access issues, cross border cooperation and competition of research actors, international cooperation and the monitoring mechanism.
