Learn Africa Program of the Women for Africa Foundation 2023

The University of Murcia through the CMN Office has newly signed a collaboration agreement with the Women for Africa Foundation (FMxA) to promote the training of African women through the Learn Africa Program, through the modality of research stay for a young researcher, either in pre-doctoral training stage or at the beginning of the research career (less than 5 years after the reading of the thesis).

This year every African women interested in doing a research fellowship in the group E026-06 Fungal Genomics and Molecular Biotechnology should apply on the website of the 2023 Learn Africa Program Foundation before April 12, 2023, where they will also find the necessary information on the documentation to be submitted.

Once a pre-selection of applications has been received from the Foundation, the selection of the candidate will be made by the research group mentioned above.

The research stay will begin on October 1, 2023 and the selected student will receive an economic aid that covers travel, accommodation and living expenses during the 6 months of the stay, with English as the working language.
