Language asssitants at the University of Murcia

The University of Murcia has recently published a call for applications aiming at the selection of 17 language assistants, for the faculties of Education (English and French) and the Departments of English, French, German, Italian and Arabic of the Faculty of Arts. Deadline 10 May.

The scholarships will have a 9 month duration, from 1st October 2013 to 30th June 2014. In addition, they will cover accommodation and board expenses (722€/month) and will guarantee access to tuition-free programmes of Spanish as a Second Language and a tutor for academic guidance at the University of Murcia.

The selected assistants are expected to carry out 12 hour practices/week in their own language and 4 tuition hours/week. They will collaborate with teachers in the faculties and staff of the International Relations Office and, when needed, will attend meetings at the departments.

The selection requirements are as follows: to be a native speaker of the language you are applying for, to be a graduate in Philology, Modern Languages, Teaching of Second Languages or to hold a similar degree in your country of origin and not to have enjoyed a similar scholarship at the University of Murcia for more than 2 academic years.
