Call for mobility aids focusing on International Students in the Mediterranean area

The Campus Mare Nostrum (CMN) and the Universidad Internacional del Mar (UNIMAR) announce that the RESOLUTION OF THE RECTOR OF THE UNIVERSITY OF MURCIA has been published IN ORDER TO ATTRACT INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS WHO STUDY IN FOREIGN UNIVERSITIES IN THE AREA OF INFLUENCE OF CAMPUS MARE NOSTRUM DURING THE 2017/2018 ACADEMIC YEAR.

The Campus of International Excellence Mare Nostrum publishes every year a cross-border mobility aids with the purpose of attracting and supporting international students from foreign universities in the Mediterranean area, firstly to our University and secondly to our region. They will enjoy an unique and enriching experience that allows the approach between different cultures through the Universidad Internacional del Mar summer courses at the same time.

The mobility aids, which include 500€ and free registration for a course held in June, July, September or October 2018, have to be applied for at Campus Mare Nostrum Office in the places and by the means established in Law 39/2015 dated 1st of October (section 16.4) of Common Administration Procedure.

This year the application will be carried out in the way as follow:

First of all, filling an online application (http://www.um.es/aplicaciones/cmn-mediterraneo)  and afterwards, sending an application printed copy together with certifying documents. These documents will be received in the office before 30th April 2018.

Candidates requirements:

• Students who have either obtained 60 first cycle academic credits (in a degree or similar) or are doing a master or PhD.
• To have a suitable Spanish level (minimum A2)
• To be registered for 2017/2018 academic year in a foreign university.
• 2016/2017 year academic record (original version as well as its translation into English or Spanish) classified by level.
