Visit from Hassiba Benbouali University (Argelia)

On 13th and 14th March 2018, we received the visit of Dr. Mamar Bennour from the Hassiba Benbouali University in Chlef (Algeria) in the University of Murcia. This professor, expert in biomechanics, displayed great interest in the facilities of the Sport Sciences Faculty of San Javier city as well as the studies that take place there. He also visited the International Area and Campus Mare Nostrum located in Rector Soler Building in Espinardo Campus.

Hassiba Benbouali University has over 24,000 students, more than 37 research projects, and among other infrastructures 31 faculties and 6 university residences.

Above all, it is the first contact for future agreements which will allow the mobility of students, researchers as well as administrative and service staff. So this university will join to the large number of universities from Algeria which whom the University of Murcia has reached a general protocol of action.

Universities such as Oran 2, Skikda, Mouloud Mammeri Tizi-Ouzou have signed agreements for developing and organizing specific collaborations in the Campus of International Excelence Mare Nostrum framework, as a result of the 3rd Bilateral Meeting of Spanish and Algerian universities that our university held last year.
