From the Editorial Board of the new journal of social sciences, Sociología histórica (SH), we call for articles for our first monographic number that will be devoted to analyze the processes of social change that are taking place in Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, Libya, Syria and other countries of the region, in other words, what is being called “the Arab Spring” or “the Arab Awakening” from January 2011 on.
